We are a fast-growing SaaS startup with offices in Berlin and Hamburg. A lean, diverse team of ~17 people, obsessed with feature velocity, real customer problems and clarity instead of bureaucracy. We work in a hybrid way – preferably from Hamburg or Berlin.

We are looking for a structured, reliable person who keeps our team running in the background – with an eye for detail, joy in processes and the right instinct for when things need to be pragmatic.
As Office Manager, you are the first point of contact for the team on administrative questions and work closely with our founders, the payroll accountant and external partners. You bring structure to a growing startup – and actively shape how we work internally.
💪🏼 Your tasks
Team & HR
First point of contact for the team on HR questions and interface to accounting
HR administration: maintenance of vacation and absence data as well as personnel data
Preparation of salary payments and close coordination with the payroll accountant
Support with onboarding and offboarding of employees
Accounting
Preliminary accounting: assigning expense receipts to account transactions
Processing incoming invoices and reimbursement of expenses and travel costs
Office management
Supporting the founders with administrative tasks and process optimization
Support with processing applications and grants
Communication with external partners and suppliers
Maintenance of tools, administrative routines and lists in the areas of HR, finance and administration
Support with organizing events and team activities
🧠 What you bring
Experience in office management, assistance or a comparable administrative role – ideally in a startup or dynamic environment
You work in a structured, independent and discreet manner – especially with sensitive HR and financial data
You have a good understanding of numbers and are not afraid of preliminary accounting tasks
You are strong in communication and strike the right tone – internally and externally
You love maintaining systems and improving processes without losing track of the big picture
You work proactively and solution-oriented – and you ask questions when something is unclear
You speak fluent German and English, both written and spoken
