Announcement graphic: inline source chips and video timestamps in the Elephant Assistant

The Elephant Assistant now shows exactly where its information comes from with every answer – and understands your videos, too.

🔍 Inline sources: Every fact comes with proof.

Right behind every statement in an answer, you can now see precisely what it is based on. Key capabilities include:

  • Source chips directly in the answer text behind each fact – so it is instantly clear which information comes from which source
  • Page numbers for documents (e.g. "p. 2 Barista Handbook") for a quick look at the original
  • Full traceability sentence by sentence instead of a vague source list at the end of the answer

This lets you verify any answer in seconds – ideal wherever reliability matters, from process questions to product details in daily work.

🎬 Video understanding: Answers straight from your videos.

The Assistant now understands video content and uses it as a knowledge source:

  • Timestamp chips (e.g. "3:50") appear inline in the answer and in the Sources list
  • Embedded video preview right in the sources
  • One click, exact moment: The timestamp jumps the video straight to the relevant second – no more scrubbing
  • Applies to all newly uploaded videos – simply re-upload existing videos once so the Assistant can understand them

This turns training and explainer videos into a searchable knowledge source where every piece of information can be found down to the second.
